Is the free tier really complete?
Yes. Detecting video, images and GIFs, quality selection, HLS/DASH/Reddit merging, the sound alone as MP3 or M4A, and subtitles are free and unlimited, with no watermark and no ads. Pro adds scan pages, watched pages and the batch queue for bulk work, plus the hard-site resolver for cipher-protected sites.
How long does Pro last?
10 years by card, for good by crypto. Paid by card, Pro runs for 10 years from the day you buy, because our card processor, Whop, does not allow lifetime terms. Paid in crypto, the license never expires. Either way it is one payment with every update while the key runs, and it will not quietly turn into a subscription or ask you to re-buy.
Is there a subscription?
No. Pro is one payment of $19.99. Nothing renews and nothing is billed again.
How do I pay?
Card or crypto. Card goes through Whop, by card or Apple Pay, and sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies. Crypto goes through NOWPayments: BTC, ETH, USDT and 300+ other coins. Either way your license key is emailed as soon as the payment clears.
Refunds?
Real ones. If VidHatch does not work for you, ask and you get your money back. No hoops, no “store credit.”
Chrome or Firefox?
Both work. Published on the Chrome Web Store and on Firefox Add-ons. Same VidHatch either way.
Which sites does it work on?
Most of them. VidHatch reads video formats rather than a fixed list of sites, so it works on most pages that play video in your browser. Every release is tested on real sites, and the current list, with which ones need Pro, is in the extension under Settings → Tested sites. If a site does not work, report it and we look at it.
