VidHatch is a general-purpose media tool. It detects media that a website has already delivered to your browser and saves it to your own computer. VidHatch does not host, store, index, or distribute any content, and it operates only on the device of the person using it.
Respecting rights holders
We respect the rights of copyright owners and expect our users to do the same. Because VidHatch hosts nothing, most copyright concerns are properly directed at the site that published the material. If you believe our website itself (vidhatch.com) contains material that infringes your copyright, you may send a notice as described below.
Filing a notice
A valid notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)) should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- Identification of the material on our site and enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information — name, address, phone, and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Send notices to our designated agent at dmca@vidhatch.com.
Counter-notice
If material you posted to our site was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate access for users who are repeat infringers.
